Near the town of Hartville, Wyoming is the POWARS II Red Ochre Mine site. This is the site that Dr. George Frison was working on when he passed away (Sept 2020). This site has produced an incredible number of Paleo-indigenous points, mainly Clovis/Plainview/Goshen. The set that we are selling includes 6 points found by Mr. Powars when he was a coach at the school there at the town of Sunrise. These casts are all (just as the originals) covered in red ochre from the actual mine site itself. You will be hearing more and more about this amazing site in the near future.
